Sophomore (1st-3rd)

New and challenging activities thrill our Sophomore, (campers entering grades 1-3) campers! Campers can't wait to get to our ropes course and rock walls, enhanced creative arts projects, and play baseball, soccer, tennis, hockey, or basketball on our mid-sized athletic fields and courts.

In addition to those activities listed above, second and third graders love our recently expanded Choice Program. Second and third grade campers have two opportunities to tailor their schedule with a morning and an afternoon weekly choice period. Including choice programs in the daily schedule allows campers to explore specific interests and develop skills in the activities of their choosing. All of Blue Rill's Choice Programs are run by adult specialists and are grade specific. This dynamic allows campers to develop additional friendships within their divisions by connecting them with other campers who have similar interests as they do.

Whether traveling with their small group all day long as a camper entering first grade, or discovering the thrill of the fabulous second and third grade choice programs, being a Sophomore at Blue Rill is the perfect combination of fun, friendship, and individual growth. This hybrid program is perfect evidence as to Blue Rill's fresh approach to traditional camping.
